Connecting to Game Servers · Understanding the Stack · Joining the Network
Welcome to the Mediakor Wiki — your central hub for all documentation related to our custom infrastructure, games, and experimental builds.
Everything in this network — from the Medievalkor web RPG to Dockerized game servers and LXC-based tools — is documented here.
The Mediakor stack hosts multiple interconnected services across physical and virtual machines, including:
- Game Servers: WoW 1.12.1 (AzerothCore/Mangos), Rust, Minecraft (Crafty/Docker).
- Web Services: PHP/Apache portals, Proxmox management UI, Nginx Proxy Manager, Ollama AI APIs.
- Media + Tools: Jellyfin, File storage systems, Web UIs, and experimental apps.
All custom creations — from PHP websites to Docker stacks — will have their documentation hosted here.
This wiki grows with the network.
Below are step-by-step instructions for connecting to the various game servers running within the Mediakor ecosystem.
World of Warcraft 1.12.1 (Classic)
Download a 1.12.1 client (such as a Vanilla (1.12.1) Repack or clean client from archive sources).
Edit your realmlist.wtf file in the WoW directory:
set realmlist mediakor.com
Ensure ports 3724 (auth) and 8085 (worldserver) are open or routed correctly if self-hosting.
Login using your registered Mediakor account credentials.
Rust Server
Open Rust, click on the F1 Console.
Type and enter:
connect rust.mediakor.com:28015
If hosted locally or in Docker, ensure ports 28015 (game) and 28016 (RCON/websocket) are open.
Server may include custom gather rates, QoL plugins, and Mediakor branding.
Minecraft Server
Open your Minecraft client (Java Edition recommended).
Click Multiplayer → Add Server.
Set the address to:
mc.mediakor.com
Supports latest Crafty-managed versions — survival, creative, and event worlds.
Dockerized instances managed through Crafty Controller.
-
Each service (WoW, Rust, Minecraft) uses a unique or shared login depending on platform integration.
Refer to the Accounts & Access page for credential management.
-
Internal services (e.g. phpMyAdmin, pgAdmin, Portainer) are protected by reverse proxies under authenticated subdomains.
-
Access requests for test or dev servers should go through the Support / Requests section.
The Mediakor environment is an evolving landscape of interconnected projects:
- Medievalkor — A browser-based RPG built in PHP + MariaDB with asynchronous missions, crafting, and dungeons.
- Infrastructure Scripts — Python and PHP automation for call analysis, AI transcription, and server deployment.
- Custom Panels — File storage, JSON editors, and monitoring tools with unique dark/vaporwave styling.
- Game Containers — Dockerized instances for WoW, Rust, and Minecraft with automatic backups and isolated configs.
Each of these systems will have its own section within this wiki for documentation, configuration examples, and troubleshooting.
- Join the internal chat for collaboration, updates, and project coordination.
- Check the Changelog regularly to see new updates or stack changes.
- All documentation and internal guides will be hosted here — this is the canonical source of truth.
- If you discover missing info or bugs in the documentation, log them in Wiki TODO.
